    This volume in the Detail & Scale Series completes our two-part coverage of the P-51 Mustang and P/F-82 Twin Mustang. Volume 50, entitled The P-51 Mustang in Detail & Scale. Part 1. covered all Mustang variants up through the P-51C. This title includes the remaining P-51 versions and all variants of the P/F-82 Twin Mustang.
    In order to illustrate the physical details of these aircraft in more detail than ever previously provided in any aviation publication, several trips were made by three different photographers to take scores of photographs specifically for this publication. Each of these photogra­phers is also a modeler, and each took photographs that best illustrate the features a modeler would want to see. All three also built and reviewed kits for the Modelers Section at the end of this book.
