Description
Hi, welcome to the course info section. This course is for teaching to read with Phonics method and approach.
Parents will be able to guide their children with the sounds of nature ,outside world,animals ..etc. and Afterwards with the letter sounds of English and lastly , with exercises and resources to help their kids blend,segment ,sound out letter sounds to have them make words orally and to read correctly.
Our road map in this course will be this schedule:
PART 1. SOUND DISCRIMINATION
1.1 - Animal sounds discrimination.
1.2 - Environment sounds discrimination(outside sounds, weather , sports, house body .. sounds)
1.3 - Instrument sounds discrimination.
1.4 - Body percussion activities.
1.5 - Rhythm of sounds.
Part 2. RHYMING & SYLLABLES
2.1 - Counting words in a sentence
2.2 - Rhymming (nursery rhymes,common rhymes, tongue twisters, jazz chants, rhyming books..)
2.3 - Alliteration
2.3- Syllables and oral blending and segmenting
- PART 3. LETTER SOUNDS
3.1 - Beginning and ending sounds , beginning and ending sound discrimination activities.
3.2 - Blending and segmenting sounds
3.3 - Onset and rhymes
3.4 - Word families
3.5 - Counting sounds in a word
3.6 - CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words
3.7 - CVCC and CCVC words
3.8 - VCe (vowel-consonant-silent e ) words
3.9 - Sight words
PART 3. STRESS and INTONATION
4.1 - Stress in words
4.2 - Stress in the sentence
4.3 - Minimal pairs
4.4 - Intonation
So ,parents will have adequate info and lots of exercises, methods and online and offline resources for having their kids start reading fast and better . Additionally they will be able to learn about a lot of online and offline resources (links to English learning and teaching web sites ,applications ..etc. under the video lessons in writing ,listening and speaking skills beside reading resources.
Last but not least there are very important resources for improving writing, listening and speaking skills.Among these resources, you can see high quality websites and applications,downloadable materials ..etc.
