    Are you interested in learning how to build and fly your own fixed-wing UAV? This beginner-friendly course will walk you through the full process—from assembling the aircraft to setting it up for autonomous missions using ArduPilot and Mission Planner.

    You will start by putting together a foam fixed-wing plane, installing important components like the Pixhawk flight controller, GPS, telemetry, power system, and servos. Each step is explained in detail, so no prior experience is needed. You will also learn how to wire and position your components inside the fuselage to keep your build neat and efficient.

    After the build, you’ll dive into the software side. We will use Mission Planner to calibrate sensors, configure radio controls, assign flight modes, and set up safety features. You’ll also learn how to use power monitoring tools to keep your system safe during flights.

    A full section is dedicated to installing and using an FPV (First Person View) system, allowing you to see what your UAV sees during flight. You’ll also prepare for autonomous missions, learning how to use flight planning tools to program automatic routes.

    By the end of the course, you will be ready to take your first flight—both manually and on autopilot.
