This is a "two kleenex box" book for sure…I really like how the author devotes a whole page to small quotes…."I am so grateful to my mother for giving me the roots and wings to be the type of mother who can handle this person who is my daughter…." What a feel-good little book! I found so many stories that I could relate to, many of which were almost identical to my life experiences. My feelings were the same as when you hear an old song on the radio that takes you back to a particular time in life. I got a big chuckle when I read the "Flinstone Feet" chapter, as it has particular meaning for me! This book would be a great Mothers' Day gift or just a nice little read for a Sunday afternoon.

Sometimes you cry, sometimes you laugh. Gregory Lang really knows how to write about real feelings that moms and daughters experience. As a mother and a daughter I could relate to many of these stories. There is just such a special relationship between moms and their daughters. I would highly recommend this book for everyone to read. Even men who have women in their life would enjoy reading this and understanding better the bond between a mom and her daughter.
