    Description
God’s plan for us includes more than spiritual truth — it includes physical wholeness. In this class, we’ll explore the biblical foundation of the health message and see why the body is called the temple of the Holy Spirit. You’ll discover how lifestyle choices affect not just your physical well-being, but also your mental clarity and spiritual growth.

We’ll walk through Adventist principles of diet, clean and unclean foods, temperance, and the avoidance of harmful substances like alcohol and tobacco. We’ll also examine the role of exercise, rest, fresh air, and trust in God as part of His holistic design for life. Stories and examples will show how these principles work in real life.

Along the way, we’ll take on the most common objections. Did Jesus declare all foods clean in Mark 7? Was Paul saying diet doesn’t matter in Romans 14? What did he mean by “every creature of God is good” in 1 Timothy 4? And what about the troubling allowance for wine in Deuteronomy 14? We’ll find consistent answers when we let the Bible interpret itself.

Most importantly, you’ll see that salvation is always by grace. Health reform is not a way to earn God’s favor, but a way to live in harmony with His design, equipping us for service and joy.
