    This course is for Beginners and will give a firm foundation of Electricity.

    Description

    In this course you will Learn about the Basics of Electricity from Deon Jacobs who has many years experience in Teaching Electricity and training students to Qualify as Electricians. He is a Qualified Electrician, Facilitator, Assessor and Moderator in the Electrical Training field.

    In this Course you will Learn what Volts is and how to measure and calculate it. What Amperes are and how important it is to understand its effect on conductors. What Resistance is and how it effects the Current flow and what Power is and how to calculate it as well as the cost of Electricity. Learn how they work together and against each other. You will Learn about Ohms Law and Kirchoffs Laws. I teach the difference between Series and Parallel circuits to see the effects there are between connecting the circuits correctly. We will look at Alternating Current compared to Direct Current and how they get generated.

    For a Bonus I have added a video on how use Multi Meters and how to measure the different components.
