This was my first T. Gephart read, and what a read it was… She took me for a ride on the Power Station Express and I did not want to get off. I read the book in a single day, and I'm sad that it's over, I loved it that much. The author has a gift for storytelling, she had this "I've read it all before" reader laughing out loud, and yes, I admit it, I cried too. I didn't skim, I absorbed every word, and felt every emotion, including frustration. As usual, we know how we want a story to go, how we want the characters to respond, and we sometimes get a little impatient when they don't listen to us when we get our Dr. Phil on, right? I wanted to grab a handful of red hair and give it a hard yank to wake up that stubborn woman who was depriving us of our 'Daily Dose of Dan'. Dan is the definition of a sexy, muscled, tattooed, cocky, man-whore, dirty-talkin' rockstar. He was highly entertaining with his smart mouth that was talented in many ways. I couldn't decide if I liked him better on the phone, on the stage, or in the bedroom.
