David Meyer, one of the first American Black Belts in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and John Will, the first Australian Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, both top students of Jean Jacques and Rigan Machado, are world famous for their highly organized and powerful seminars.
David Meyer is one of the most successful American competitors in the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and is the coach and training partner for numerous no holds barred fighters in Los Angeles. He was winner of the 1998 Korean Air Black Belt Challenge, and won a Bronze Medal in the 1998 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championships, Black Belt Open Weight Class division, making him the first American to win a medal in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championships at the Black Belt level. He has been the winner of numerous "superfights" at regional and national Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitions in both gi and no-gi competitions, and is well respected as both a competitor and instructor.
John Will was awarded the rank of Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by Rigan and Jean Jacques Machado in 1998; making him the first Australian Brazilian Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is the top Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor in Australia, coaching and training with many Jiu-Jitsu and no holds barred fighters.
