    What you'll learn

    How to do a simple line drawing to start your painting process.

    Choose the proper painting supplies for a loose painting technique. Choosing the right materials can make a big difference in how loose your painting turns out. You will learn

    Express freedom in painting by developing the right mindset. If you’re feeling tense, it will come through in your work, often resulting in a fussy, overdone painting.

    Develop a loose technique. I will demonstrate ways that you can use to free up your painting.

    Use colour creatively. It is extremely helpful to use a limited palette, seeing the variations of color mixes, changes of temperature and different values in color. Just looking at your palette you get a good sense what the painting would look like.

    In the section: "Paint with me" I will work thought full demonstrations of my loose painting technique for you to follow along. New videos will be added to this section from time to time.

    Requirements

    No previous experience needed but an open mind to loosen up.

    Description

    There is no singular best way to approach watercolour. This course will  assist many watercolorist to solve a specific problem I had in the beginning of my painting career, and that is that my painting were to tight and lack freedom and transparency and sometimes ended in mud by using too many layers of colours. One of the most prominent elements of my work is the loose technique used on almost all my painting. So I made it a point in this course to really concentrate on my loose technique which is one of the secrets of my art work.
