In this Course students will advance their knowledge in shielded metal arc welding theory. This course is designed to cover the basics of Shielded metal arc welding. This course is mainly designed for beginners/ students or for people who would like a refreshed on this topic.

Students who have completed this course will be able to identify Shielded metal arc welding electrodes, understand the composition in the electrodes, How to weld a fillet, How to strike an arc.

This course also provides troubleshooting tips regarding Shielded metal arc welding.
