Sharing Experience as an Animator Carrier | How to Animate for Beginners.

In this video skill course, I have shared my experience in my animation carrier and how to become an animator.

I have discussed all the problems that beginners animators face when they first start the animation.

Animation for Beginners Course by Neil Skill

    Animation:

Animation is a method in which figures are manipulated to appear as moving images. In traditional animation, images are drawn or painted by hand on transparent celluloid sheets to be photographed and exhibited on film.

    Table of contents:

    1.What is Animation

Animation is the art of bringing life to otherwise inanimate objects, or illustrated / 3D generated characters.

It is created by projecting sequenced images quickly, one after another, to create the illusion of life.

    2.Vocabulary

The process of creating the illusion of motion by viewing sequential images in rapid succession. Drawing out a scene frame by frame from beginning to end.” A single still image in an animated sequence defines a specific position of onscreen elements at a specific time in the sequence.

    3.The 12 Principles of Animation

In this video, I have discussed the 12 principles of animation.

There are many different types of animation, some of which you're probably already familiar with, so let's do a quick rundown of the different types of animation and what the differences and similarities are.

    3D
    Hand Drawn
    Vector
    Stop Motion
    Motion Graphics

    4.Types of Animation

    5.Animation Process

Here are the 6 steps of animation:

    Shooting reference video
    Key posing
    Blocking
    Splining
    Smoothing
    Adding life

    6.Software

I have discussed this topic in a video lecture.

    7.Hardware

Hardware is getting cheaper, and software is getting more efficient. You can run most animation programs on most modern computers, and drawing tablets are getting very affordable.

    Frequently Asked Questions?

Do I need any software for this lecture?

No, this lecture teaches the principles of animation, regardless of the program you use.

    What hardware do I need?

As long as you have a computer (or a tablet/smartphone) and can connect to the internet, you should be good to go.

I’ve never animated before. Will I be lost?

This lecture was created assuming you’ve never animated before. We go over all the basics to make sure you are able to follow along.
