    Niels Jensen (f. 1927) er en dansk forfatter, der har skrevet et væld af børne- og ungdomsbøger om Danmarks historie, bibelhistorie og nordisk mytologi. Han debuterede i 1971 med "Da landet lå øde", og sidenhen er det blevet til 37 bøger.
