    Description

    In this class I will teach you everything you need to know about Beginning Watercolors.  I provide you with a supplies list and then we go through each supply one at a time.  I even show you how to set up your palette and fill your wells with paint!  From there, we do a few simple painting exercises where you learn the basics of how to mix paint, stroke you paint puddle successfully on your paper, set up your paper, and achieve all of the paint techniques used in the dog painting.Then, there is a lecture on VALUES, the key to any successful painting.  I explain values and their importance in creating a representational painting and then we create a value chart specific to the dog painting.Then follow along with me as we paint the dog step by step.  I use guided instruction, building in breaks during my video's where you stop the video and catch up to the step I just completed.  That way you don't just watch, but actually get a painting done that you are proud of!!  It's a ton of fun!!Marilee is a college professor in Southern California who teaches drawing, painting and sketching.  She has been working as an educator for over 20 years.  She likes to say that her favorite pieces of art are her students.  So sign up for one of her classes and enjoy the ride!
