Genre: Video Tutorial / Sound processing

Trying to get pro quality guitar tracks in your sessions? You’ve come to the right place. Today I’m pumped to announce a brand new video series dedicated to helping people get the absolute best acoustic and electric guitar recordings in their home/project studios. Welcome to REthink Guitar.
The Foolproof Way To Record Guitars

I don’t know about you, but I like systems and techniques that don’t leave much room for me to get in the way and screw things up. This is especially true when it comes to recording guitars. Too many people seem to want to complicate the process by suggesting you use multiple microphones in various combinations assuming all the while that you’ll know what to do with these tracks come mix time.

No offense to any of those people (who are probably a lot smarter than me), but I keep things very simple in the studio. That’s why REthink Guitar is designed for people who want the absolute simplest way to properly record acoustic and electric guitars and then mix them to perfection.
    Warning: Not A Comprehensive Guide

I want to completely upfront with you though. REthink Guitar is not a complete course on every possible recording and mix technique. If you’re looking for ways to stereo mic your acoustics and guitar amps, this is not the tutorial for you. I don’t record that way so I don’t teach it.

But, if on the other hand you’re looking for someone to sit down and show you exactly where and where not to put the mic to get great guitar recordings, you’ve come to the right place. If you’re looking for training on how to use your stock EQ, compressors, and delays to get killer guitar mixes, I’m your guy.
    Better Guitar Tracks In Minutes

I know there are a lot of guitar players out there looking for help with capturing and mixing great guitar tracks. REthink Guitar was born out of many requests from actual readers and customers. I’ve put together what I believe is the fastest and simplest way to get better guitars in your sessions. You’re minutes away from better recordings!
