The goal of this publication is to provide the best of navigational systems for the space traveler. The authors have spent considerable time researching all things related to navigation for space travel. From this research and development period, we have developed best coordinate systems, best navigational tools, and best mapping programs, for traveling across space. Thus, in the publication we provide the best of these navigational systems. We discuss the basic concepts of each system, the science behind each system, and the practical details of operation of each system. Technical drawings are included where helpful. /// Humans will be traveling through space, and we will be settling distant regions of the galaxy. This is certain. Therefore, our desire in this Series is to design the best systems and tools to make this exploration a practical realty. This includes developing the Navigational Systems necessary for the journeys. Thus, this publication describes and illustrates the most effective tools and methods for long-distance space travel. /// We begin with the Coordinate Systems. The existing coordinate systems are inadequate for the needs of the space traveler. Therefore we have developed two new coordinate systems. The first of these is the Space Location Coordinate System. This coordinate system will designate the precise position of any object in space. This system will be used by all navigation crew to locate specific planets, stars, and beacons during travel. The second coordinate system is the Universe Grid System. This coordinate system divides the entire universe into several Space Regions. This perspective is useful for considering all things within a Space Region, as well as comparing activities from Region to Region. /// Navigational Tools. In this publication, we offer the following Navigational Tools for Space Travel: 1) Path Drawing Program; 2) Star-Map Room; 3) Space Beacons. // The Path-Drawing Program will trace the exact path the ship has taken from the home planet. This path can then be viewed on a Map. // The Star-Room Map is an immersive replica of the space environment. The user of the Map-Room can therefore call up a specific region of space, and see this reality as shown around him. // The Space Beacon Network will be a collection of Beacons throughout the galaxy. Each beacon will act as a lighthouse, as it emits a unique signal. This signal will be matched to a Beacon Map, and therefore the navigation crew will know their exact location in space. The Beacon Network will also be used as long-distance communication between planets. /// Therefore, when using these Coordinate Systems, the Navigational Tools, and the Mapping Systems, the space traveler will be able to effectively navigate through the vast distances of space. Using these Navigational Systems, all ships will remain on course, never deviating from their path. Such a direct route of travel will ensure the fastest travel between locations, and maximum safety for all travelers. Each design is fully explained and illustrated in this publication. // 43 illustrations.
