Marvelous Marshmallow Recipes: Wonderful Ways to Cook with Marshmallows!

Do you love marshmallows? I don’t know anyone who doesn’t. People have enjoyed marshmallows practically since recorded time began, with the ancient Egyptians making them 2000 years ago as treats for royalty.

The first commercially-made marshmallows originated in France around 1800, when candy makers discovered that whipping together sugar and egg whites, along with sap from the mallow plant, produced a delectable treat. Then, in 1927, the Girl Scouts invented S’mores, and the rest is history!

Here’s the thing, though – have you ever thought that marshmallows could be used in ways other than eating straight out of the bag or toasting over a campfire? Probably not, but the fact is that marshmallows are very versatile, and can be used in a number of interesting ways.

In this book, you’ll find 30 different marshmallow recipes. They won’t be organized like a traditional cookbook – you know, appetizers, soups and stews, main dishes, and so on. This is because I had so much fun researching and creating marshmallow recipes, I want you to have the same “Oh wow, I had no idea you could do that with marshmallows” experience that I had!
