For easier recall learning the alphabet by interacting with each letter in many different physical ways helps students retain the letters and their sounds when learning to read. The kinetics of learning letters through writing supports the physical and mental ability to connect letters to words and words to sentences. The long-term effect of good handwriting correlates between a great memory and expansion of one's vocabulary. This is important in writing.
