This recipe will show how to make the traditional pork bao as well as a vegetarian bun with kale and shiitake mushrooms.Shu Mai are traditional Chinese dumplings that are commonly served in dim sum. The most common filling is ground pork and chopped shrimp, which will be shown in this recipe, although the filling can vary based on the season.Chef Annie takes you through the process of creating pork sui mai, pork bao, and a vegetarian bao with kale and mushroom.
