Description

The 8 week Mindfulness meditation programme is a transformative well structured programme in which we will learn how to meditate, from the engineering of our body -the position of meditation- to what happens to us and to our brain when we meditate. You will find eight specific guided meditations to do each day of the week (at least 5 days per week) and a few informal meditations to choose also each week (these are the ones we can do in our daily tasks). The guided meditations are structured specifically in order to progressively work with ourselves. We will go from the most evident (our body) to the most subtle (our thoughts). You will also find text and videos to support you in the comprehension of this progressive encounter with meditation.Contrary to what people think, meditation is not leaving the mind blank or a relaxation technique. Meditation is to be here and now. But what is the here and now?In this comprehensive course I will guide you week by week. You will discover how to sit in meditation (and why it is so important) - what meditation is and what it is not, - how and why if we meditate we will become calmer and more relaxed, - and most importantly, we will get to know ourselves. This 8 week programme is based on the teachings of Jon Kabat Zinn.Guided meditations and informal meditations are the work, art and creation of my teachers from Inspirare. Escuela de Meditacion.Meditation found me when I was ready for it, and I do hope that I get to see you soon.
