You with curiosity and increasing passion for Finnish mythology and folklore I welcome you to this wondrous course I've created.Finnish mythology is made of magic and enchantment. A nature-based belief system that was ruled by the elements, gods and goddesses, fairies and elf, animal spirits and ancestors. Welcome to a magical journey where you learn about the most important Finnish gods and goddesses, connected to the water and earth. The old hunting magic was all about respecting the spirits of the forest and to please Mielikki, the forest queen. This is a short course. It will help you to build a deeper understanding of the world view of ancient Finno-Ugric tribes and their shamanic world view. - You will learn why the forest was such an important place in the past and home to many myths- The importance of water as a healing element.- Names and meaning of deities of the forest and water. Our goal is to deepen our knowledge wisdom and creativity through mythology and folklore. I will share tips on shamanic journeying and building connections with tree and animal spirits alike not to forget the invisible spirits around us.By the end of this course, you have a better understanding of mythology and magical creatures.
