Description
This course aims to improve the quantitative, data analysis, verbal, and writing skills of students taking the GMAT. Using over 400 illustrative slides, it gives a clear breakdown on the questions you will expect to see in the test, and you will learn strategies to work confidently. To do well in the GMAT, which is an adaptive test, you need to spot the different types of questions, pick the right strategy, and get to the harder questions while keeping to the time limit. Ultimately, the test is a challenge that separates students who learn by memorization versus students who not only mastered the basics but are ready to adapt concepts. This course keeps within the scope of the test and is packed with invaluable reading, writing, and data insights, as well as powerful math shortcuts. Additionally, the course provides essential concepts and formulas so that the foundational principles are clearly understood and you can get up to speed within a short time. You can apply the different strategies described in this course to work efficiently and optimize time. This will prepare you effectively and give you the greatest confidence to excel in the test.The instructor has helped thousands of students in Southern California with different levels of academic readiness do well in the GMAT. The material in this course is guided by that experience and has been class tested. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Electrical Engineering, and has participated in the International Mathematical Olympiad when he was a high-school student. He has also authored several study guides, and enjoys analyzing test questions and developing new ways to outsmart the test folks.
