Description
The course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the most delicate and challenging phase of strategic planning: determining the type of action to take—the decision of "what to do." Typically, this decision relies solely on the strategist's experience and intuition, who, after thoroughly analyzing the context and before planning resource allocation and time management, must choose the path to pursue among many alternatives, often without specific criteria to guide this critical activity. The course aims to address this significant gap.The course, comprising videos, documents, and external links, is divided into 6 Sections and 34 Lectures, covering the following topics:1 - Defining the concepts of strategy and strategic choice, and how they have evolved in both Eastern and Western contexts2 - Identifying and classifying the types of strategic alternatives, independent of application contexts3 - Comparing a context with strategic alternatives to identify the most appropriate ones, understanding their advantages and challenges4 - Interpreting simulations that apply a strategy to a context, highlighting key focal points with the assistance of Artificial IntelligenceThe analysis and simulation model presented and utilized in the course is the 6C Model. Upon completing the course, you will have the opportunity to practice and apply the acquired knowledge in a strategic simulation environment across various scenarios, known as the FreeGame.
