    Description

This course is a modern breakdown of modern Slang and Acronyms used on Social Media. There are two main sections. One focuses on slang terms and the other on Acronyms. This course is for ESL students looking to learn how to communicate informally and is intended for ESL students that have intermediate to advanced english. A good understanding of basic English is needed. If the student can understand what I am saying in the preview they should be okay in the course. (please see preview before purchasing as I want you to gain something from my course.) It is fast pased and holds a lot of content. Although the video time is only around an hour we learn together. This course includes a quiz at the end of every section as well as two practice tests and a final culmative. It's a general interest course intended to be fun and informative. Anyone interested in getting to know about how we communicate in the online world can take this course. I made the course for an ESL student of mine who, although quite fluent finds it difficult to understand slang in in- peron professional and online situations, however my course could be enjoyed by anyone. Since the appearance of Covid-19 the online world has become arguably the most common form of communication and this course seeks too bridge the gap between what used to be verbal communication and what is now informal written communication in an online forunm. Above all, remember to have fun!
