Learn how to rapidly model a building using a floor plan and elevations as reference

Learn how to use Sketchup to rapidly generate spectacular art reference

Method for setting up large models and explore different photorealistic rendering engines

Confidently generate 3D models and photorealistic renderings

    Requirements

You must download a free version of Sketchup to follow the content of this course

To take full advantage of this course, you will need to download Sketchup Pro

    Description

This course walks through all of the most used tools in Sketchup, how to use them, and how to set up all the tools in such a way that you can multiply your efficiency. This course will enable you to confidently model in Sketchup, but give you pro tips so that you can do so at a rapid pace to quickly generate 3D models for presentation material or for art reference. Knowing the material in this course is the more important aspect of generating photorealistic renderings. Once you know how to model in Sketchup, you can quickly learn a third party rendering engine such as Lumion, Blender, Enscape, or Twin Motion, as well as many others that are available. With the content in this course, you will have such a good understanding of all that Sketchup is capable of, that you will be able to model things from scratch, as well as access and manipulate for your use, all of the free models that are available on the Sketchup Warehouse. For generating buildings, environments, context for buildings, and art reference, there is nothing better than knowing how to model in Sketchup. This course will enable you to boost your creativity as well as your efficiency in your creative process.
