Hello there!Have you always wanted to sing like your idols but did not know how to start? Maybe you have been singing for a while but would like to learn more about the voice and how it works. Then this course if for you!'Singing for Kids' is an introductory course for young people interested in learning more about the voice, performance tips, vocal health and so much more!Delivered in short, informative and fun video lectures, this course will focus on introducing kids who are interested in singing and build existing knowledge for those who are at an intermediate level but would like more knowledge. The course focuses on three main areas: * Introduction to vocal technique: a short focus on the anatomy of the voice including the role of the diaphragm, breath support and vocal exercises. * The different registers of the voice: chest,head and mixed voice and how to connect these. * Different vocal styles and types: genres of music and the characteristics of each, the different voice types and vocal range. Alongside these we will be looking at performance techniques and how to take care of the voice. There will also be answers to frequently asked questions.
