Description

This is a seven-module course that will help you re-imagine your career in an unknown future. This course is for recent graduates, young adults who are interested in a lot of different fields but are unsure of where it will take them in their careers, and mid-career workers. You will be led by Christopher Bishop and Bryan Mattimore who will guide you through activities and other exercises to get you to really think outside of the box. Some of the things you will learn about are how to find a trend and be a part of it, what kinds of jobs are coming, and more. In the end of this course you will be able to: illustrate the changing nature of work – past, future, present, new future, discover and apply specific techniques to imagine future careers, articulate different research methodologies to discover aspects of the imagined future job, and adopt a new world view of work: lifelong learning + continuous creative thinking = future career success.
