What you'll learn
Knowing the theoretical principles for lower back pain.
How can we apply manual global physiotherapeutic techniques for low back pain .
How to apply specific techniques for lower back pain.
Know with active exercises that can be performed by patients with lower back pain.
Requirements
Anyone who wants to learn about this course. Patent with low back pain etc.
Description
In this course you will first get to know the theoretical information about the scientific definition of back pain, symptoms, etiology, diagnosis and related tests. You will learn in practice how to test the myotomes of the lower limb to recognize the risk of nerve involvement in patients complaining of lower back pain. As well as all specific techniques for passive and active rehabilitation of back pain. In the passive protocol, you will first learn in practice the application of lumbar rehabilitative massage and its techniques. How to apply physical therapy, specifically magnetotherapy. How to apply Maitland's techniques on the patient, the technique of releasing the iliac crests in prone position . Meanwhile in the supine position, how to apply pumping technique for the ilio-psoas. While in the lateral position, how to release trigger points for the piriformis muscle, how to mobilize the sacro-iliac joint in bilaterally way .Meanwhile, in the active protocol, you will learn how to apply McKenzie's techniques. In the case of McKenzie exercises, you will learn only 3 of the many others position , the basic ones. However, during them it is important to familiarize yourself with the patient's MRI in advance to understand if we have nerve damage and on which side the nucleus of the disc has come out. On the contrary, we have contraindications for the application of McKenzie technique. Also you will learn Williams exercises, active exercises on the ball as well as antero-retro pelvic version exercises.
