Description
This pharmacy technician training program was prepared by a PharmD Instructor and PharmD Students who are affiliated with the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy. The PharmD instructor has broad experience creating and/or reviewing curricula for pharmacy students and pharmacy technician students enrolled at other institutions. The PharmD students have worked as pharmacy interns and have recently taken either the Pharmacy Students and Pharmacy Technicians passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) exams as recently as April 2022.This program is fully accredited by PTCB. Therefore, by completing this program, you will be able to sit in on the PTCB CPhT exam without any prerequisite training hours. In other words, this program can be taken by those completely new to the pharmacy technician field. If you plan to take the CPhT exam administered by NHA, you will still need to complete the prerequisite 500 hours working as a pharmacy technician. This program also contains two practice tests which are designed to help candidates practice and prepare for the national exam administered by PTCB or NHA to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician. These practice exams have the same look, feel, and functionality as the actual CPhT exam administered by PTCB and NHA. This allows the candidates to become familiar with the real exam experience before test day, and go into the exam feeling confident and ready to pass.If you would like additional practice, we are offering six full exams, three exams if you are PTCB bound, and three exams if you are NHA bound. Please check our other course offerings to locate these practice exams.
