Strategic Foresight is a structured methodology that empowers individuals to think and plan for the future proactively. In this introductory course, students will gain a deep understanding of the intricacies of change and learn how Strategic Foresight can serve as a powerful tool for navigating and harnessing it.Throughout six video lectures, students will acquire knowledge on defining, researching, and analyzing trends to gain a comprehensive understanding of their potential impact on various aspects of life, including their personal life, career, family, team, or organization. Furthermore, students will learn how to extrapolate scenarios based on current trends, enabling them to identify opportunities and effectively plan for future risks or eventualities.The course includes 5 short open-ended assignments that allow students to practice key techniques. These assignments can be reviewed by the instructor, if necessary.Upon completion, students will have gained fundamental knowledge on the use of Strategic Foresight and how it can help them master various dimensions of change, including technological advancements, market shifts, and emerging trends.
