This three-hour course on Amharic Language and Pronunciation is designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of the Amharic language, focusing on pronunciation accuracy and basic communication skills. Amharic is the official language of Ethiopia and is spoken by millions of people worldwide. Whether you're planning to travel to Ethiopia, work with Ethiopian communities, or simply have an interest in learning a new language, this course will provide you with a solid foundation in spoken Amharic.Throughout the course, participants will learn the following:Introduction to Amharic: Participants will gain an understanding of the historical and cultural significance of the Amharic language within Ethiopia and its diaspora communities.Amharic Phonetics: A comprehensive overview of the Amharic phonetic system will be provided, focusing on consonants, vowels, and their respective sounds.
