    Description

Are you a UI, UX, Product Designer interested in learning how to break into the drone industry? In 2023, the drone industry is a $33 billion dollar industry and estimated to nearly double by 2030.There are not enough UI/UX/Product Designers equipped to work in this industry. When I started in the drone industry, I was coming from previously spending 8+ years in the video game industry. Over the following years I navigated learning a whole new industry-one that was rapidly changing and growing due to regulation changes and technological advancements.I've shipped both numerous software applications and hardware products for drones for a myriad of customers - from professional photographers and athletes to federal and public safety agencies. Over the years I've become and industry expert on product design and facilitating discussions on responsible design for emerging technologies. I've spoken at GDC, AUVSI Xponential, AIAA SciTech, NASAO, and the Lesbians Who Tech & Allies Summit. We are entering a Golden Age of drone development and there will continue to be a significant demand for workforce in this industry. To help get more designers into the drone industry, I've created an in-depth e-course covering everything you need to know to feel confident in creating portfolio pieces to help get you noticed and applying for jobs at drone manufacturers and software companies. What You'll LearnA strong foundation understanding the drone industryFoundation for the Regulatory environmentBreakdown of different drones, their design, and functions.
