Description
What is inverted (negative) drawing? It’s a creative technique where you draw dark what needs to be bright, and leave the paper white or lightly shaded for the dark areas. It’s often used by artists who want a black background while keeping the rest of the drawing minimal and clean. To see the final result, simply take a photo of your drawing and invert the colors using any free mobile app.Why should you enroll in this course?Because it trains your eyes and brain in a completely new way. You’ll become more confident with shading. You’ll understand light, shadow, and contrast better. You’ll learn to see values, and that’s what separates beginner art from truly realistic drawing. Drawing on black paper can be hard and unsatisfying. But this method gives you full control. You draw on regular white paper, just with reversed thinking. This course is created by pencil artist Jasmina Susak, who is well known for her inverted/negative drawings and highly recommends this technique. Why? Because it helps artists understand how values affect each other, and how to use them to create depth, contrast, and life in your work. Besides having fun while drawing in negative, you’ll gain a new skill and develop a stronger artistic vision that will make your future drawings and paintings more realistic.
