Happy Handling teaches positive-reinforcement techniques that can help your pet feel more comfortable when being handled, leashing up, or meeting new people. This course is perfect for anyone new to pet ownership, or wanting to help strengthen the bond with their pet. Learn techniques such as "Look at Me" to help build trust and focus, "Collar Grabs" to make it easier to handle your dog before a walk, and "Introductions to New Objects" to help your pet feel more comfortable with nail trimmers or other grooming products — and more!This training course is intended for both dog and cat owners, and all techniques within it can be used for both! You can practice at home, at your vet or groomer's, or anywhere you need to help increase your pet's comfort level.This course uses positive reinforcement training only. You'll work together with your pet in a comfortable, friendly environment, using high-value treats, praise, training tools, and more. This course does not use aversive methods such as prong collars, leash-jerks, or yelling at your pet. Happy Training!
