Requirements

All cacao drinkers, from first-time curious to deeply connected, should find this to be a comfortable experience!

You will need to prepare 2 cups of ceremonial cacao (hot tea works well as an alternative if needed)

You will also need 3 pieces of paper and 2 writing utensils

Description

After several years of working deeply with cacao, and facilitation of 40+ ceremonies, I am honored to be offering this course. Ceremonial cacao is a beautiful, heart-opening sacred plant that has gifted me with layer upon layer of physical, emotional and spiritual nourishment. It has also become a very special part of the relationship I share with my partner and best friend, which is what inspired this offering.This course is not designed to teach you about the history or origin of cacao, or its cultural significance, nor is it a structured approach to the precise steps taken to facilitate ceremonies for others.What it IS intended to do, is provide a unique couple’s experience - a guided cacao ceremony in which the participants will be able to:Connect with reverence to the energy of cacaoExplore the theme of "Symbiosis" by opening into meaningful sharing, interaction, and growth as a coupleComplete various activities to support the process in a fun and creative wayEnjoy an original guided meditation visualizationWork together to create a shared expression of needs and wantsPlant a ‘seed’ to revisit in a week or so, encouraging further connectionExpand one's understanding of what exactly a cacao ceremony can look and feel like (while keeping in mind the possibilities are endless!)Bolster confidence for those interested in facilitating cacao ceremonies for others, by providing a direct experience that can be drawn from for guidance and inspiration
