Description

Take your trampoline skills - both gymnastics and freestyle - from beginner or higher to a pro level!Who is the instructor?Hi! My name is Kris Olson, and I've been a gymnastics coach in Colorado for over 10 years as well as a competitive snowboarder and a coach of competitive snowboarding for over 20 years. Now, about this course:StretchingI introduce several stretches that will directly help us with the skills we work on in this course and describe how to do them properly to go along with the demonstrations. Ideally these are done daily.ConditioningAlong with the stretches, I introduce several different exercises relevant to the skills we will be working on to get your body ready to do them safely and successfully.BasicsOnce the warm ups have been done, we get into the basics - still technical but serve as our building blocks to build good form for when we start learning the actual skills. This section includes bounce technique, rolls, bed tricks (tricks done by bouncing off of different parts of the body), bed trick combinations, cartwheels and round offs.SkillsThe meat of the course - the actual tricks. But even these are meant as stepping stones to harder tricks covered in my higher level courses, but it's important to build good technique from the beginning. This section includes spin technique, back drops, dive rolls, 3/4 front flips and pullovers (a backflip drill). Is this course worth my money? Here are the reasons why this course is valuable:Safety. Learning these skills from a professional is so much less sketchy than trying these things by yourself or with your friends amping you up. And it's way faster.Guaranteed Progression. This course will take you from beginner to intermediate if you follow the technique taught in the videos and put in consistent practice. I've taught even the most unlikely of people to be well rounded athletes using these same techniques.Structure. Fast and effective progression is a matter of doing the right things in the right way in the right order. The chronological organization of this course will achieve that for you.High video quality. Cinematography and editing are side hobbies of mine, and I put them to work to make sure these videos are easy to watch and far surpass basic iPhone tutorials you can find on TikTok and Instagram.Upgrades. My present goal is to just get a good course out there and started, but I already have so many improvements that I want to make in mind, and you will immediately get access to those improvements when I make them!Fun. There aren't many things more fun than jumping on a trampoline, but one of those things is being good at it. It has contributed to a really cool life for me and can definitely create that for anyone else who is willing to put in the reps!It took me 25 years to accumulate all these skills, but you can do it in a matter of months with this course. Give it a go!
