Description
This course takes you from beginner to advanced Pro Tools operation. We cover the things that I feel you should know. I've developed this curriculum based on my years as a university lecturer and practical instructor, teaching Audio Engineering, Sound Design and Music Production. Whether you are a beginner in audio production, or you have worked with other Digital Audio Workstations and are looking to move over to Pro Tools, this course is for you!The course structure takes us through various projects and has you introduced to topics as they arise throughout the projects we undertake. I feel this makes for a course that contextualises the topics I am presenting and shows you why they are important to know. Some topics that, in my experience, beginners have had a hard time grasping and absorbing the information, are shown multiple times so that you fully understand the concepts and can solidify your understanding.A lot of the examples in the course focus on Music sessions, however we look at working with video as well as some Pro Tools operations that are crucial to know if you are working with software development, game development, sound design and more.I hope you enjoy the course!
