Description
ArchiMate® is a graphical language and open standard used to describe Enterprise Architectures, developed and maintained by The Open Group®. It can be used to create a wide range of viewpoints, each relevant to different project and business stakeholders. These support the activities of business architects, data architects, solution architects, infrastructure architects and enterprise architects.ArchiMate is used to describe the architecture of organizations - specifically their business processes, organizational structures, information flows, IT systems and technical infrastructure. Thanks for Sparx Systems published this excellent ArchiMate tutorial, it shows all of the valuable viewpoints that, if you're using Sparx Enterprise Architect tool, you can directly load as template in the tool; while, as one good reference for ArchiMate modeling practice, this course is using Archi (Open Source ArchiMate modeling tool) to model every viewpoint pattern in this tutorial, additionally, after every pattern, I've collected one relavent (from open Internet) example and show you how to apply the knowledge learnt from the pattern into the actual practice modeling. You may find my other ArchiMate related courses in Udemy, and can learn those together with this one in following suggested sequence –ArchiMate Tutorial - (this one) as starting point since it's one step by step guide and show you all key layers and notations in ArchiMate, not tool depended.ArchiMate CookBook - as second one since it's show you a lot of patterns, better you've already had Archi experience and ArchiMate basis in mindArchiSurance / ArchiMetal - advanced learning if you're aiming to prepare passing the ArchiMate certification, bring those case study modeling in mind will be hugely benefits for your examination. (Personally I gained a lot help for myself passing the examination.)Thanks for your interests and may you find value from the course, Good Luck!
