Description
The ABC journaling course is a comprehensive course about journaling with a difference. I love letters, I love writing them down and I like playing with them. This course came about after years, I mean literally 40 years of being a journaler myself. I journaled through sad times bad times good times mad times. I journaled in buses, trains, airplanes, outside in the garden, in hotel lobbies. You name it, wherever I go my journal goes. This course will get you excited about journaling, and yourself. Guaranteed. You will learn about the joy and the magic of journaling. You, my dear human being, you that are looking for answers, you that need inspiration and motivation or just that little bit of magic in your life – this course is for you. To help you explore who you are as well as the stories you tell yourself.Journaling is a powerful tool, even when you do nothing more than write down your thoughts. But I want to show you how to use it to your greatest advantage. I want you to know how to journal intentionally, how to journal to meet your own unique needs. For when we journal ON PURPOSE, with an understanding of how it works, that’s when we discover how brilliant we really are. Journaling is a process of stimulating the mind, body and heart, and then capturing the resulting thoughts, sensations and inspirations on paper, so we can give them attention, reflection and meaning. Different journaling tools and exercises encourage us to think in different ways. Why ABC?I was playing around with the idea of calling this course Absolutely Brilliantly Creative journaling course or even Amazingly Bedazzling Creative journaling course. Again …. why? Our year has 52 weeks, the alphabet has 26 letters. And yes, 26 + 26 = 52. That means we can ‘work’ with each letter for two weeks during the year. When I talk about ‘work’ with the letters, I’m talking about using the emotion that comes with the letter. Let’s take the letter A for example. What emotions or attitudes or feelings start with A? Apprehension, anxiety, anger, amazed, to name a few. Imagine having these as your companions for a week. Excited yet? Then this is truly the course for you. I appreciate you reading so far – another lovely A-word!. Yes, you are going to journal with emotions, feelings, attitudes by using the humble alphabet to help you identify emotions that you don’t even know you had. We need to honor our emotions. We need to give voice to them. We need to identify them correctly.
