Description
Welcome to our new Course, ICT Tools for Collaborative Learning. Collaborative learning is commonly illustrated when groups of students work together to search for understanding, meaning, or solutions or to create an artifact or product of their learning. Collaborative learning redefines the traditional student-teacher relationship in the classroom. Collaborative learning activities can include collaborative writing, group projects, joint problem-solving, debates, study teams, and other activities. The approach is closely related to cooperative learning. Many students have found this to be more beneficial in helping students learn more effectively and efficiently than if the students were to learn independently. We will discuss methodologies and environments in which learners engage in a common task where each individual depends on and is accountable to each other. These include both face-to-face conversations and computer discussions (online forums, chat rooms, etc.). and methods for examining collaborative learning processes include conversation analysis and statistical discourse analysis This course is designed for students to learn 21st-century skills and develop their ICT capability and ICT literacy and use ICT as a tool for lifelong learning and helps the learners to achieve the expected learning outcomes in an easier way. The course also helps the end user the student through guided learning from the teachers.
