    Description

    High levels of stress can have adverse effects. According to Health & Safety Executive,stress, depression or anxiety accounted for 17.9 million days in 2019/20. On average, each person suffering took around 21.6 days for stress, depression or anxiety.The last few years haven’t been easy for anyone. We’ve had an actual pandemic, a war in Europe, record-breaking inflation that has triggered a recession!  All this stuff can be scary, induce fear and has left many people feeling anxious, stressed, uncertain about tomorrow, and wondering how we are expected to cope with everything that is going on!Stress either in your personal life or in the workplace is a serious matter. It should not be ignored as you are likely putting your health at risk. There are many things that can be done to reduce stress and to help deal with the times when stress is inevitable.This course will cover causes of stress, stress at the workplace, stress management and how to build resilience.  The course will equip you with knowledge, tools and techniques to systematically evaluate the causes of stress in your life, and respond to and manage stress. It will also provide you with tools and techniques to build resilience in our ever-changing world.
