This DVD is for any guitar player at any level. Everything is based around the pick n fingers technique which will certainly take a bit of practice if you've never tried it. A lot of the stuff is in a Bluegrass/country vein so you should be aware of that. It's all in the key of C A G E or D, which are the keys that a guitar works well for, and a lot of open strings are used in the licks. Thers no filler, no extended breaks for live performance inserts, it's just one lick after another.

He throws a lot of stuff at you pretty quickly and the video is more like 75 licks with variations on a theme. If you have some of Mr. Roth's other videos you will notice that he is going green and recycling some of his riffs. One cool thing in the video he divides the lessons up into to Keys. Watch Arlen do his thing in the Key of G and from there it's pretty easy to combine this riffs into your very own monster riffs. To top it all off this is vintage Arlen Roth so he is rocking the fro like Bob Ross.
