It has long sections on Rall, Barkhorn and especially Marseille and Hartman as well as a long chapter on the amazing night fighter aces. The personal remembrances of these pilots who were interviewed for this book in the 1960s when it was first published are priceless. The first part of the book is slow but worth getting through. The appendix has a large list of hundreds and hundreds of fighter aces and the units they served in. Essential reading for those interested in the Luftwaffe.
