    Paulo is one of the worlds leading percussionists and drum circle facilitators, with a magical ability to inspire and empower others through drumming. He tours nationwide, facilitating corporate, college, and community drum circles and has lead drumming events, master classes, and workshops across the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Mexico. He is passionate about his work, radiating joy and patience while graciously sharing the spirit of rhythm and community teambuilding.

    Session 1 contains: a level 1 study guide; keys to developing rhythm and essential drumming skills; 19 rhythm patterns with signals and two rhythm arrangements of Yankadi and Macrou; West African Drum rhythms, their geographical, ethnic, and cultural origins and applications; the hand strokes and tones and drum language; how to take care of your hands; Right Hand-Left Hand coordination builders; Drum Signals, the key to opening and closing the rhythms; and an illustration of the relationship between drumming and dance. For beginning through advanced players.

    Session 2 contains: a level 2 study guide; fundamental keys to developing rhythm and essential drumming skills; 15 rhythm patterns with signals in two rhythm arrangements of Kassagbe and Kassa; and solo drills. For beginning through advanced players.

    Session 3 contains: a study guide; fundamental keys to developing rhythm and essential drumming skills; 18 rhythm patterns with signals, two rhythm arrangements of Soli and Liberte; and solo drills. For beginning through advanced players.

    Session 4 contains: a study guide; fundamental keys to developing rhythm and essential drumming skills; 20 rhythm patterns with signals, two rhythm arrangements of Tiriba and Mindiani; and solo drills. For beginning through advanced players. 60 minutes.
