Is it currently impossible for you to cultivate the plants you want because of the weather? Are you looking forward to eating summer delicious tomatoes that you've cultivated yourself? Growing in a greenhouse allows you to grow practically whatever you want, whenever you want, without having to wait for Mother Nature to grant you permission. What do you wish to grow? Because you can grow almost anything in your greenhouse! In a greenhouse, you may grow food of unrivaled quality. For many years, I've been active in commercial greenhouse growing. Greenhouse tomatoes have been my main crop.
Growing in a greenhouse gives you more control. If you've been gardening for a while, you're used to nature setting your relationship's rules. Planting too early in the season or clinging to a few extra precious days late in the season will almost certainly result in a harsh rebuke from Mother Nature. It's happened to all of us at some point. You, on the other hand, will set the rules in your backyard greenhouse.
The temperature in your little greenhouse can be anything you want it to be. The length of the day can be as long as you need it to be. What you'll be able to grow will be determined by your desires. If you're used to following nature's rules, growing in a greenhouse provides an amazing sense of independence - as well as a lot of gardening fun.
I can take off my coat and labor in my shirtsleeves among my plants. Winter rages outside, but it's miraculously kept at bay by a few thousand of an inch of plastic thickness. My breath supplies a small amount of extra carbon dioxide to my plants as I work, and they fill the environment with oxygen for me. And we're all enjoying the wonderful springtime sanctuary that the warm and inviting greenhouse has produced. It's not the Garden of Eden, though. It can't be far away, though.
