Fundamentals of Network Analysis and Synthesis

Fundamentals of Network Analysis and Synthesis by S. K. Pandey
    English | July 30, 2012 | ISBN: 8121936454 | 814 pages | PDF | 71 Mb

After 14 years of teaching experience, this textbook on “Fundamentals of Network Analysis
& Synthesis” is an endeavour towards providing students with a solid grounding in the foundations
of this subject. It is suitable for use as one-semester course material by under graduate students of
    Electronics & Communications Engineering (EC).

The textbook is organised into 10 chapters the outline of the book is as follows :
Chapter 1 describes various signals and various types of signals, transformation of the signals.
Chapter 2 deals with network analysis in which we described initial and final conditions in
    detailed.
Chapter 3 describes the Laplace transform and its application for solving differential equation
and also used for analysis of network.
Chapter 4 an amplitude and phase responses.
Chapter 5 deals with network functions. Driving point and transfer functions of various types
of one and two-port networks have been discussed in this chapter. Complex frequency has been also
    described.
    Chapter 6 on two-port networks.
Chapter 7 deals two network theorems, i.e., Thevenin and Nortons’ theorem.
Chapter 8 on passive network synthesis. Here elements of releasability theory for such network
have been presented and faster and Cauer forms of realisation have been explained.
Chapter 9 deals with elements of transfer function synthesis.
Chapter 10 on Introduction to active network synthesis. Operational amplifier.
Appendix includes some important & useful mathematical portion.

At the outset let me first acknowledge and express my gratitude to all the teachers who
    taught me.
I express my indebetedness to all those who contribute for this project especially to Prof. T.N.
Shukla (KNIT, Sultanpur), Dr. K.S. Verma (Director, KNIT, Sultanpur), Prof. Dr. Satysheel (MNNIT,
Allahabad), Dr. S.N. Singh (Ex. Head, EE Dept. BHU, Varanasi), Mr. P.K. Singh (MVIET, Allahabad).
We wish to put our record or sincere thanks to the Management Team and the Editorial
Department of S. Chand & Company Ltd. for all help and support in the publication of this book.
