Engrosser's for Dummies, but in video form, with a snarky instructor to tell you what to do every step of the way.

    What you'll learn

How to begin their calligraphy journey with confidence

    Requirements

Have a dip pen and nib at the ready, though pencils are fine in a pinch

    Description

This course will allow you to finally demystify what goes into the calligraphy script known as Engrosser's, or Copperplate as it is also known.  I will tell you exactly what to do and NOT to do, in hopes that your foray into the world of calligraphy is a pleasant one! What is that you say? You aren't artistic enough or your handwriting is terrible? Nonsense, calligraphy is more of a discipline, if we were to be exact. That is why you can excel in this and still have the handwriting of a child (ME). But all jokes aside, this course is excellent for those who have always wanted to pick up a holder and start writing but have always been stumped as to how. I know of the $200 courses floating around, are they good? Of course. Worth it? Eh… I mean, it's definitely a plus but with hard work and just enough guidance I believe you can get there. I will tell you all about ovals, about the glorious spacings that you must religiously adhere to lest you be disappointed with your own work, and so much more. What  I am giving you, is a stepping stone so that you can take what I've taught, and grow from there. You can do great things with the right start, and by Jove,  I am YOUR great start!
