Django Reinhardt Anthology: Transcribed and edited by Mike Peters
    Hal Leonard Corporation | English | June 1, 1985 | ISBN-10: 0793525160 | ISBN-13: 9780793525164 | 112 pages | 85.19 mb

Includes 70 Reinhardt classics for classical guitar. Each song lists its date of recording and other important information relating to the song and recording session.

There are many books on the market containing the works of Django Reinhardt. I have a few and this one seems to be the one I spend the most time with. I can attest that the transcriptions are accurate to the original recordings. The book contains transcriptions in standard notation only. There are linear type notes to each piece that are very interesting. There is not much written on technique. The book includes transcriptions of both Django’s compositions and standards.
I think the book is well worth the price just for the transcription of “Echoes of Spain”. I never thought I could get that sound with my level of playing. That is in itself a testament to the value of this book.
