    Lynette Rohrer Shirk is a classically trained chef who attended the California Culinary Academy's Professional Chef Program and has worked in the kitchens of Wolfgang Puck's Postrio and Masa's. She has also worked in the pastry departments at Chez Panisse, Bizou, and Stars Palo Alto restaurants, as well as at William Sonoma, Inc.'s Corporate Headquarters. Shirk has had the honor of cooking at the James Beard House in New York City, and she has lectured at the Association of Education in Journalism and Mass Communication Annual Convention on the experience of writing and editing the 101 recipes for Wild Women in the Kitchen. She lives in Lewisville, TX.
