    This excellant book gives a brief history of each of the 50 destroyers transfered to Great Brition by the United States starting in late 1940. There is at least one photo of each ship. The histories of each ship are short but comperhensive. I cannot recommend this book highly enough-it is essential to anyone interested in World War II at sea in the Atlantic. This book fits the Ideal of what this type of book should be-it gives the reader All the information he needs to understand this class of ships service 1940-45.
