Post Implementation of Document Management Software
What you'll learn
- Integrate EDMS with enterprise systems such as ERP, SAP, Oracle, and Primavera to ensure seamless data flow and process synchronization across departments.
- Plan and execute a successful EDMS pilot project to validate workflows, test configurations, and gather user feedback for continuous improvement.
- Conduct system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify functionality, identify gaps, and ensure readiness for full-scale deployment.
- Evaluate Return on Investment (ROI) by analyzing performance metrics, productivity improvements, and operational efficiency gained through EDMS.
- Apply EDMS in real-world project environments, ensuring effective collaboration, document traceability, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Completion of the EDMS Implementation Phase 1 and 2 course (recommended) – to ensure familiarity with setup, workflows, and migration processes.
- Basic knowledge of EDMS concepts and document control practices – including metadata, access control, and approval workflows.
- Experience working in an organization using or transitioning to an EDMS – helpful for understanding real-world integration and optimization challenges.
- Understanding of enterprise systems such as ERP, Oracle, SAP, or Primavera – beneficial for learning system integration and data flow management.
- Basic computer and analytical skills – to perform data reviews, interpret ROI metrics, and manage digital collaboration tools.
Description
ThePost-Implementation of Document Management Softwarecourse focuses on helping professionals optimize, stabilize, and sustain their electronic document management systems (EDMS) after successful deployment. It bridges the gap between installation and long-term efficiency, ensuring that the system continues to deliver measurable value to the organization and its stakeholders.
Participants will learn how to integrate the EDMS with key enterprise systems such as ERP, SAP, Oracle, and Primavera to enable seamless data exchange and consistent workflows across departments and projects. The course also emphasizes planning and executing a pilot project, collecting user feedback, and refining configurations to enhance usability, user adoption, and overall system reliability.
Learners will gain practical skills intesting and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)to validate system performance, identify and fix issues, and ensure readiness for full-scale use. Additionally, the course covers how to evaluate theReturn on Investment (ROI)through performance metrics, productivity improvements, document accessibility, and system uptime.
By the end of this course, participants will understand how a live EDMS supports collaboration, regulatory compliance, and decision-making in real project environments—empowering them to maintain system efficiency, drive continuous improvement, enhance information governance, and ensure the long-term success of document management practices.
The only request is to all participant to complete the pre implementation part 1 and implementation part 2 before going for the post implementation part 3 course.
Who this course is for:
- Document Controllers and EDMS Administrators - maintaining systems after go-live
- Project Managers- overseeing document control performance
- IT and System Integrators - ensuring connectivity and maintenance
- Departmental Leaders - relying on secure and reliable document systems
